BRYN MAWR, PA — Radnor Township Police released a sketch of a man who broke into a Bryn Mawr apartment and went through the victim's belongings in her bedroom as she slept.

The sketch above is the man who broke into an apartment in the Villas of Bryn Mawr at about 12:05 a.m. on Aug. 25.

The victim, a woman, was sleeping in bed in her apartment when she woke up to the sound of a person entering her bedroom, police said.

Police said person started going through her belongings.

When she looked out from underneath her covers she saw an older black man, wearing a maroon shirt and tan shorts, looking through her backpack, police said.

She screamed and the man ran from the apartment, according to police.

Police described the suspect as being 35 to 40 years old, standing between 5 feet 9 inches tall with a "chubby" build, and short hair.

If anyone may have seen anything regarding this incident is asked to call the Radnor Police at 911.
