BRYN MAWR, PA –Bryn Mawr College has something new to boast about, as it was ranked the top school for an oft marginalized population in our country.
According to the Princeton Review, Bryn Mawr College is the No. 1 LGBTQ-friendly school in the country.
With recent political discussions surrounding LGBTQ rights and military service, the college has emerged as a leader in accommodating and welcoming members of the LGBTQ community.

The other schools ranked in the top 10 for being LGBTQ friendly are:
- Bryn Mawr College;
- College of Atlantic, Bar Habror, Maine;
- Emerson College, Boston;
- Warren Wilson College, Asheville, North Carolina;
- Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Massachusetts;
- Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York;
- Agnes Scott College, Decature, Georgia;
- Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York;
- Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Needham, Massachusetts;
- and Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa.
