Radnor: Conestoga Road Tunnel In Garrett Hill Closure

The tunnel is scheduled to be closed to traffic starting on Nov. 2 and continuing until Dec. 14, 2020.

Radnor Township is undertaking a project to install a state-of-the-art LED system in the Conestoga Road Tunnel in Garrett Hill to bring the lighting up to current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation standards. The lighting system, to be installed by Miller Bros., will provide greatly improved safety conditions in the tunnel. This project will require that the tunnel be closed to traffic starting on November 2nd and continuing until December 14th.

ABOUT RADNOR TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING The mission of the Engineering Department is to furnish professional expertise to various Township Boards, Commissioners, Township Manager, and other departments as necessary for those Boards and Departments to fulfill their charge under the Township's Home Rule Charter. Some examples of our advice concern engineering, stormwater management, stormwater runoff, sanitary sewers, flood plain management, and subdivision, and land development issues within Radnor Township. The Engineering Department is the liaison to the Planning Commission, Shade Tree Commission and the Environmental Advisory Council.
