Radnor Police Hosting 2 Community Events Wednesday

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Police are hosting two community events Wednesday as part of National Police Week.
The two events are being held in Bryn Mawr and Wayne.
At 11 a.m., police will be at Sacred Heart Academy for Pizza with the Police.

At the event, Radnor officers will speak with the township's youngest stakeholders over lunch to discuss topics that matter most to them. Police said the event is a non-scripted, no agenda meeting.
Pizza is being provided by Main Line Pizza.

Sacred Heart Academy is located at 480 Bryn Mawr Ave., in Bryn Mawr.
Then at 3 p.m., Capri Homemade Water Ice in Wayne will host Chat & Chill with Radnor Police.
RTPD Officers and staff will be serving up the scoops and giving tours of the police vehicles. Attendees will also get a chance to meet ‘Rocky,’ one of Radnor Police K9 Officers.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation that May 15 be National Peace Officers Day and the week in which it falls on be designated to recognized law enforcement across the country. National Police Week runs from May 13 to May 17.
