Rev. Al Sharpton Is Coming To Montgomery County Sunday
The civil rights activist and reverend will be in Norristown for a special event.

The Rev. Al Sharpton will be coming to Norristown to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of Ebenezer Methodist Chuch on Sunday, according to the Times Herald.
Sharpton was previously scheduled to give a speech at Eisenhower Middle School on Friday night, but he will be attending the funeral service for South Carolina state Sen. Clementa Pinckney in Charleston, S.C., who was killed in the shootings last week, the report states.

Instead, Sharpton will speak at the 9 a.m. service at Ebenezer, the report states.
A jazz luncheon will follow the service 1 p.m. at the Westover Country Club in West Norriton.
