Picosure®, a new laser by Cynosure is the first laser to use picosecond pulses to create photomechanical impact and to shatter the ink or pigment into tiny dust-like particles. Our body is able to absorb and eliminate the smaller particles faster and more effectively than ever before. As a result, we can now achieve better tattoo clearance in less treatments.
I firmly believe, the Picosure® laser is the biggest advance in tattoo removal since I started performing the procedure 16 years ago. The Picosure® creates less trauma to the skin and avoids scars and other side effects that are common with the older technologies.
