Man Stabbed To Death In Ardmore After Bar Fight: Police

Police were called to Cricket Avenue and Cricket Terrace around 1:30 a.m. where they found the 31-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

ARDMORE, PA — A man is dead after authorities said he was stabbed to death in Ardmore following a bar fight.

According to police, Lower Merion Township officers were called to Cricket Avenue and Cricket Terrace in Ardmore around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a possible stabbing. When officers arrived, they found the 31-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The man was taken to Lankenau Hospital where he died shortly before 2:30 a.m.

Following an investigation, police learned the victim was stabbed following an earlier fight at a nearby bar. There is no ongoing threat to the public, police said.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
