'A Taste Of Yangming' In Bryn Mawr To Benefit Children With Cancer

A multi-course dinner prepared by the area's top chefs will benefit children's cancer charities.

BRYN MAWR, PA -- Eat and drink to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand at Yangming. To raise awareness and funds to help children with cancer, Yangming will host A Taste of Lemon on Sunday, April 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a unique multi-course dinner prepared by some of the area's top chefs, including Nectar’s Chef Patrick Feury; Chef Loic Barnieu from La Belle Epoque; Chef Keith Thomas of Sola BYOB; Chef Peter Felton of Food Fanatics/ US Foods, The Plough & the Stars' Vegan Chef Lenka Zivkovic; Christone Neugebauer of Christine Marie's Catering and Chefs Vince Viola & Muyang Shen from Yangming.

For this special benefit, every dish, from the appetizer to dessert, will be creatively laced with lemon, and accompanied by wines and sublime lemon-kissed cocktails from Majestic Wine & Spirits and local craft beers from Conshohocken Brewing Company.

“I am overwhelmed that these great area chefs have come together to make this Yangming charity event possible. Each one is a master of the kitchen arts and their generosity of time and efforts is extraordinary.” said event host and Yangming Owner Michael Wei. “The donations from our various purveyors has really warmed my heart. Alex's Lemonade Stand is the motivation and Lemons are the main theme.”
