SCJN welcomed the founder of Teach Anti-Bullying (TAB), along with the organization's vice president, at a recent Home & School meeting. Many parents from the school's community listened to TAB's Dr. Cerullo discuss types of bullying, how to recognize it in person and online, and ways to handle the situation.
One parent stated, "From the talk, I learned to stay vigilant, and if my child brings anything to my attention, I should document and save any actual bullying images, texts, or posts." Dr. Cerullo also noted parents should be aware that kids with special needs (those on the autistic spectrum, with ADD or Aspberger's) are prime targets for bullying.
