Two local actors perform in "The Wizard Of Oz"
Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Students Jordana Elle and Samantha Katzen welcome you to Munchkinland at Walnut Street Theatre.
This holiday season, young talent from the Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne area will take the stage at Philadelphia’s most popular theatre company. Walnut Street Theatre’s production of the all-time classic musical, The Wizard Of Oz, celebrated its opening in early November and continues through January 8th.
Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne students Jordana Elle and Samantha Katzen play Munchkins in the production. Elle, a 6th-grader at Bryn Mawr's The Baldwin School, has developed her passion for singing and performing from a young age, first performing at The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado.
Katzen, in 5th Grade at AIM Academy, has previously performed at the Music Training Center in Ardmore, PA as well as Bryn Mawr's Wolf Performing Arts Center.
