ULI Philadelphia Presents: What Happened to My Office?
Learn about new trends impacting today's workplace

Disruption is happening in the office sector. The way we work is profoundly changing and driving the need for radically new office environments. From large corporations to entrepreneurial small businesses and co-working spaces, private offices are disappearing as newer space designs are becoming brighter, more open and shared. New perks and amenities help retain and recruit talented workers – standing/walking desks, onsite fitness facilities, personal health coaches, pet-friendly environments, meditation rooms and more. Does the new office increase productivity by keeping employees happy and working longer hours? How mobile do employees want be? Does co-working increase collaboration between clients, partners, freelancers and those in the “gig” economy? Learn about new trends impacting today’s workplace from: John Campbell, Principal, Francis Cauffman, which designed GlaxoSmithKline’s Navy Yard offices; Olivia Freeland, Senior Associate, Brokerage, Jones Lang LaSalle, who has worked with Behringer Harvard, Shell, Unisys, and Towers Watson; Mike Maher, Co-founder and Chairman, Benjamin’s Desk, with several locations including the future Pennovation Center. Moderator: Steve Spaeder, Senior VP, Equus Capital Partners, Ltd.
