WEATHER ALERT: Early School Dismissals in Montgomery County

Below is the list of closings and early dismissals because of Friday's storm.

School districts in Montgomery County have announced early dismissals and closings because of heavy snowfall in the region. The National Weather Service says that as much as 3 to 5 inches of snow will blanket much of Pennsylvania on Friday.

  • Grace Christian School-Telford (Montgomery) - Closing 1 1/4 hours early.
  • Lakeside School (Montgomery) - Closing 2 1/2 hours early.
  • Methacton School District (Montgomery) - Closing 3 hours early.
  • Perkiomen Valley School District (Montgomery) - HS/MS closing at 12:30pm Elem closing at 1:15pm.
  • Pope John Paul II High School (Montgomery) - Closing 2 hours early.
  • Pottsgrove School District (Montgomery) - Dismissing HS 11:45, MS 12:30, Elem 1:15.
  • Pottstown School District (Montgomery) - Closing 1 hour early.
  • Souderton Area School District (Montgomery) - Sec. Schools Dismiss-1:15, Elem. Schools Dismiss-2:00, No PM Kind..
  • Spring-Ford Area School District (Montgomery) - Grades 7-12 12:30 PM; Grades 1-6 1:30 PM.
