BMH and WVU Medicine Leaders Talk Merger (wisr680.com) — Butler Memorial Hospital is now officially part of WVU Medicine, with leaders promising expanded community services and major upgrades, including a renovated emergency room. WVU Medicine has pledged $800 million across newly acquired hospitals, aiming to keep more care local and strengthen rural healthcare for Butler-area residents.
3. New State Funding Aims to Bolster Child Abuse Prevention, Family Support (gantnews.com) — Butler families could see stronger support services as Pennsylvania's new budget adds $50 million for county child welfare, including Butler County Children and Youth Agency.
