Accelerando Performing Arts Conservatory hosts 6th Summer Session, "OUTSHINE the Limelight"

With regards to this year's Summer session, Accelerando's mission is moving progressively toward SELF-AWARENESS and the importance of acknowledging our INNER LIGHT - that is, embracing our own unique talents.  SHOWING UP AUTHENTICALLY and as the GREATEST EXPRESSION OF OURSELVES .   It is no secret that today's youth have interesting and unique challenges specific to their generation. There is an imbalanced struggle between self-entitlement and a lack of self-esteem.  Our goal for this summer session and the remaining sessions this year, is to build a solid foundation that provides our artists a strong sense of self-actualization and self-worth, adopting that vulnerability lends credibility and that authentically living and embracing their unique talents is what will forever outshine the, oftentimes superficial, industry spotlight.  This Summer, students will build a solid rapport with a network of like-minded artists from across the nation that re-frame negative talk into supportive and empowering conversation with self and others.  Where we can learn to appreciate our individual talents and use them humbly for our own greatest good - and those we share it with!
