Award-Winning Author Coming to Local Library

Make sure to mark your calendar for Aug. 15.

announced it will host Pennsylvania author Ceane O’Hanlon-Lincoln for an evening of stories about the commonwealth.

Her award-winning, five-volume set of historical prose brings history alive, library Director Lyn Crouse said.

"Each volume is a bright tapestry of assorted people, places and events that shaped the Keystone State," she said in a release.

Participants will hear about George Washington crossing the Delaware, the origin of expressions such as “redd up,” the tragedy of the Johnstown Flood, the thrill of the 1960 World Series and much more at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Library.

Light refreshments will be served.
