Big Mac Boys Volleyball Team Defeats Hillers

The team trounced Trinity in all three matches Monday.

The Canon-McMillan boys volleyball team continued to find its groove Monday, as the Big Macs defeated the Trinity Hillers in three straight games (25-14, 25-7, 25-15).

Quarry Trest had six kills and three aces for Canon-McMillan (2-1, 1-1 WPIAL AAA Section 1), while Big Macs Jace MacDonald (five kills), Cody Patterson (three kills, one ace) and Robbie Hall (two kills, two aces) also chipped in.

The Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity team also beat Trinity on Monday — winning in two straight games (25-7, 25-16). Both boys teams will be back in action on Thursday, when they travel to take on Baldwin. The junior varsity match begins at 6 p.m., with the varsity to follow.
