
In a match marred by sleet and a temperature that hovered around freezing, the Canon-McMillan lost 14-4 against Baldwin Wednesday.
Junior Matt Maletta had four goals, all unassisted — making his contribution 13 goals in the first three games.
Coach Craig Schleifstein said the team played hard “but Baldwin had a deep bench.”

On Tuesday, the team beat Knoch High School 11-6. Maletta had six goals and two assists; senior Nick Lang had two goals; and freshman Connor Neimeyer scored his first goal of the season.
Sophomore Nick Podlaszeski had one goal, and sophomore Richie Leeds had one goal and one assist. Senior Addison Galambos had two assists, and Tyler Slovik had one assist.

Goalie Luke Catino gave up six goals and had five saves.
The Big Macs next play Quaker Valley on April 6th.
