Blotter: Cecil Police Investigate Thefts from Vehicles

Two people reported items stolen from their vehicles over the weekend.

Cecil Township police are investigating reports of thefts from two vehicles over the weekend.

Jaclyn Thomson, of 1106 Concord Dr. in Lawrence, told police Sunday night that someone had stolen the license plate off her Dodge Neon, which was parked in the driveway of her residence.

The license plate number is HTJ2344.

Police are also investigating the theft of golf clubs from the vehicle of Edwin Ellis, of 1130 Old Farm Rd, also in Lawrence.

Ellis told police Sunday afternoon that someone had stolen the Nike clubs, which were in a black-and-white bag, from the trunk of his unlocked car.

The clubs, police said, were valued at $100.

Cecil police remind residents to keep their vehicles locked.
