Blotter: Cecil Woman Accused of Punching Man in the Eye

Cecil Township police also responded to a one-vehicle crash with no injuries.

said a township woman is facing harassment charges after she allegedly punched a Carnegie man in the eye Monday.

Police said Steve Zaleski of Carnegie told officers that he visited 31 Stonecrest to see Kenneth Zarvis when Mandee Zarvis became eranged.

Zaleski told officers that when he went to leave, she followed him out and punched him in the eye.

No Injuries in One-Vehicle Crash

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on School Hill and Morganza roads at 7:55 p.m. Monday, Cecil police said.

Police said Megan Ross was driving south in the area when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer, missing it but striking a guard rail instead.

Ross also struck a construction sign there, causing it to fall over and cause damage to a nearby fence.

Damage was reported to the front end of Ross's Ford Focus, as well.
