Blotter: Couple Found on Town Park Table Cited for Trespassing

Canonsburg police are investigating the following incidents.

A couple found on a table at the Main Pavillion in Town Park after hours Friday will be cited for trespassing, according to a Canonsburg report.

While on patrol in Town Park, an officer discovered James Muoio Jr., 20, of 245 Grove Ave. with a 16-year-old girl at the location.

Police remind residents that the park closes at 9:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief Reported

John Borda of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 122 N. Central Ave., told police Sunday night that someone had carved, "(Expletive deleted) this place" in the dry wall above a urinal in the bathroom.

Possible Counterfeit Bill Seized

Police were summoned to the Family Dollar in Canonsburg after a teller there said a $20 bill that was being used to pay for merchandise appeared to be counterfeit.

While the bill looked authentic, a pen used to test bills showed it to be a fake, according to a police report.

Police took the bill as evidence, and a report indicated that officers would check with the bank to see if it was authentic or counterfeit.
