Blotter: Police Investigate Two Hit-and-Run Incidents

Canonsburg police are also investigating a report of a missing ring.

Clement F. Kovalovsky, of 352 Oak Bridge Rd., summoned to the 7-Eleven Parking lot at 535 W. Pike St. to report a hit-and-run incident there just before 7 p.m. Friday.

Kovalovsky said the vehicle that struck his appeared to be a silver-colored Pontiac that was being driven by a woman. He was also able to provide a partial license plate number of 4H5 495.

Laura R. Alvarez, of 147 Smith St. told Canonsburg police early Monday that someone drove through her yard and knocked down a neighbor’s fence.

Hit-and-Run Reported

Brynn Elizabeth Crow, who has a Pittsburgh address, told Canonsburg police Sunday evening that someone had struck her vehicle as it sat in the parking lot of .

There was damage to the driver’s side sliding door, fender and bumper of Crow’s vehicle, according to a Canonsburg police report.

The hit-and-run incident is under investigation.

Ring Reported Missing

Adeline Steede, of 101 S. Central Ave., told Canonsburg police Sunday afternoon that she had discovered that a topaz ring with a white-gold band worth about $250 was missing from a jewelry box in her closet. Police are investigating the incident.
