In a proverbial nail-biter, the Lacrosse team went on the road Monday night and pulled out a dramatic, double overtime, 8-7 win over Quaker Valley High School in an important Division 2-Section 1 contest.

The Big Macs built up a 4-2 half time lead on the strength of four Matt Maletta goals but a strong third quarter by the Quakers powered them to a 6-5 lead at the end of three periods.

The win was the first by a Canon-McMillan Lacrosse team at Quaker Valley in many years—if not its first, as loyal Canon-McMillan fans debated the fact on their departure from the stadium.
