Additionally, in the race for Canon-McMillan School Board, current board President Darla Bowman-Monaco secured both the Democratic an the Republican nominations for the four-year Cecil Township seat.

She received 64 percent of the votes cast on the Republican side of the ballot, receiving 326 votes—winning over challenger Ronald Vrana. He received 434.2 percent of the votes cast, or 174.

For the four-year Canonsburg seat, current school Directors Eric Kline and Paul Scarmazzi secured both the Democratic and Republican nominations. For the four-year North Strabane seat, current school Director Zeffie Carroll secured the Democratic nomination. There were no Republican challengers.
