Canonsburg Radio Station to Debut New Format

Sports junkies be prepared: Birach Broadcasting is saying goodbye to its 1-year-old Spanish "La Explosiva" format and hello to a Fox Sports Radio-supported lineup.

Fox Sports 540 will debut Sunday on WWCS in .

According to Radioinfo.com, Zakk & Jack will be featured from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. with Dan Patrick from DirecTV going on from 9 a.m. to noon. Jim Rome from Premiere will be featured from noon to 3 p.m., with Loose Cannons following from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Petros & Money will be featured from 7 p.m. to 10pm., with Fox Sports Tonight following from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. J.T. "The Brick" goes on air from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Fox Sports 540 will also air the Fox Sports Radio weekend lineup.

Before airing the Spanish programming, WWCS had been Pittsburgh's local affiliate for Radio Disney.

Reached for comment Thursday, a representative of Birach Broadcasting said the company would wait until after the launch to comment on the format change.
