This year, 16 local high school students were named 2012-2013 scholarship recipients.
According to Jeff Broadhurst, chief executive officer Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, the scholarship program creates opportunities for young adults who might not otherwise be able to receive a higher education.
“Education is one of the most powerful tools for strengthening our communities. We’re pleased to be able to open doors for young people who care about their future,” Broadhurst said. “As an added benefit, the scholarships also help us recruit and retain quality team members.”
