Comcast Scholarship Awarded to CM Senior

Four Washington County students were recipients of the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program this year—with a Canon-McMillan student among them.

Congratulations to Cody Campbell of Canonsburg, for being on of 174 seniors across the state to receive the $1,000 scholarship.

The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program awards one-time, $1,000 scholarships to "students who strive to avieve their potential, who are catalysts for positive change in their communities, who are involved in their schools, and who serve as models for their fellow students."

The winners, Comcast officials, Gov. Tom Corbett and other lawmakers recognized Campbell and other winners at an event held Tuesday at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg.
