Bobby brought βlunch-and-love-in-a-bagβ to customers and the praise and feedback to Paula. The Bag Lady business saved Paula and her two young sons from near homelessness and grew into a restaurant called The Lady & Sons in Savannah.
Bobby was in the front of the house and took care of the customers, leaving his mom to craft recipes that gave The Lady & Sons its first national exposure and launched Paula and her family on a trajectory that has made them one of the most recognized families in America.
With The Lady & Sons firmly established, Bobby and his brother, Jamie, began appearing on their motherβs cooking shows on the Food Network, and then launched their own show on the network,Β Road Tasted.Β
