CMS will be hosting a parent information meeting open to all parents of the district. Kristen Salamone, Olweus Trainer and Consultant for the Intermediate Unit 1 and Lori Hedderman, CMS Guidance Counselor is conducting the parent session on bullying in the Canonsburg Middle School auditorium. Bullying is one of the most important issues facing children today. This training will give parents the most up-to-date information on bullying including statistics, facts and tips on how to handle bullying behaviors. Participants will explore what bullying is, how to spot it and what to do if you suspect bullying behaviors in your child or others. This training will also highlight what our local schools are doing to address bullying behaviors.
