Finleyville Man Will Stand Trial For Alleged North Strabane Burglary

Online records show that Timothy Jindra waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning.

A Finleyville man will stand trial on after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing before district Tuesday morning, online records show.

had also charged Timothy Jindra, 38, with criminal mischief (entering a structure), theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident earlier this month, the Washington County Jail list shows.

Jindra reportedly attempted to burglarize a home on Thomas-Eighty Four Road Sept 1 before fleeing—and ending up with his vehicle submerged in a nearby resevoir, according to the Observer-Reporter newspaper.

Although Jindra fled the vehicle, he was apprehended by officers from North Strabane and Peters, the paper reported.

Jindra had been arraigned before district Judge Larry Hopkins, who set a $50,000 bond. Jindra was unable to post bond and was remanded to the Washington County Jail, where he was still listed as an inmate Tuesday afternoon.
