Hearing Monday for Trooper Involved in Fatal DUI
An off-duty Pennsylvania state trooper from Canonsburg is accused of driving drunk and killing an Edinboro man in February.

The Erie Times-News is reporting that a hearing will be held today (Monday) for an off-duty Pennsylvania state trooper accused of driving drunk and killing an Edinboro man in February is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today in Union City.
Jeffrey M. Dalessandro, 35, of , PA with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, two counts of DUI, involuntary manslaughter and other offenses following a crash that killed an Edinboro man.
GoErie.com reported in February that police said Dallesandro was driving impaired "when his eastbound truck crossed the center line on Route 6 in Union Township at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday and struck a westbound Chevrolet Blazer driven by 21-year-old Daryl L. Nunemaker. Nunemaker was pronounced dead at the scene."
