He was driving a 2002 Chevy Silverado with municipal plates when he was pulled over by officers while driving away from the scene.
Police said Hindman failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the station, where a breath test showed a .253 blood alcohol content.

Hindman also is scheduled to appear before district Judge Jay Weller at 5 p.m. April 4 for a preliminary hearing related to DUI and careless driving charges filed by North Strabane police Jan. 30, online court records show.
