Lacrosse Team Wins Opening Match
Team captures 5-2 victory over Trinity Area School District Friday.

The boy’s lacrosse team took the first step toward its goal of a .500 season yesterday, opening its year with a 5-2 win over Trinity on Friday night.
Junior Matt Maletta led the Big Macs, who had not beaten the Hillers in three years, with three goals.
Maletta was followed by teammates Addison Galambos (two goals and an assist), Tyler Solvik (three assists) and freshman Conner Neimeyer, who nabbed his first assist in a Canon-McMillan uniform.

The Big Macs will be back in action on Tuesday, when they play host to Knoch High School at 7 p.m.
