McDonald Police Charge Midway Man with Rape
Robert Murphy was charged with rape of a child and other charges Wednesday and arrested Thursday.
McDonald police charged a Midway man with a myriad of offenses including rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
The charges against Robert Murphy, 36, were filed Wednesday. He was arraigned Thursday morning before district Judge Curtis Thompson, who remanded Murphy to Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond, according to online court records.
The Observer Reporter in Washington is reporting that the charges stem from the alleged sexual assault of a girl, now 15, over an eight-year period.
