
Caitlin Marie Samila, 21, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. She was born Nov. 12, 1990 in Mt. Lebanon, a daughter of Mark John Samila, with whom she made her home, and Mary Lou Kobertz Samila of Washington.
Ms. Samila lived most of her life in Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church and was a 2009 graduate of
She was employed at the Giant Eagle in McMurray and the in Cecil Township.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two sisters, Jennifer and Meeghan Samila, both of Canonsburg; her fraternal grandmother Carmen Hajek Samila of Canonsburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are her fraternal grandfather John Samila and maternal grandparents Larry and Kathryn Keller Kobertz.

Friends are welcome fro 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in at 304 W. Pike St. in Canonsburg, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Jugan, pastor, as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, Caitlin’s family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
