
G. Donald Hutchinson, 77, of Canonsburg, died Monday April 23, 2012 in McMurray Hills Manor.
He was born June 27, 1934 in Canonsburg, a son of the late George and Laura McMillan Hutchinson.
He was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and choir director, the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department and the Knights of Pythias. Don also was a member of the Silent Knights Pantomime Group.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a scheduler for PPG Industries and later drove school bus for Canon-McMillan.
On Aug. 2, 1957, he married Saralee “Sally” McKown Hutchinson, who died Aug. 3, 2010.

Surviving are three sons, George Hutchinson and wife Lori, Thomas Hutchinson and wife Diane, and Gregg Hutchinson and wife Carla, all of Canonsburg. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Christina, Melissa, Thomas Jr., Brice, Madison, Jared and Brittany, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Sulkosky and Marjorie Banner.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the at 30 E. College St. in Canonsburg.
Family and friends will meet at the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Thursday for services with the Rev. Thomas Hamilton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery in Canonsburg.
