Obituary: Geraldine Marie Watts

Geraldine Marie Watts, 74, of , died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in Manor Care, McMurray.

She was born July 1, 1939 in Canonsburg Hospital, a daughter of the late Ferdanand and Grace Hopson Jones.

Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, watching movies and playing games. She was an avid fan of the Steelers and Michael Jordan.

Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey L. Watts Sr. (Lisa), Timothy V. Watts (Lisa), and Gene (Peanut) Watts, all of Washington; one daughter, Robin L. Kramer, of Coraopolis; two brothers, Robert Jones of Canonsburg and Carl Jones of Youngstown, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Robbie, Randon, Rashea, Breann, Jocelynn, Jeffrey Jr., TiLisa, Sheena and Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Aniya and Kian; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald T. and Robert Watts; one daughter, Sharon Watts, one grandson, Evan; one brother, Billy Jones; and two sisters, Marva Edmonds and Faith Jones; former spouse Ronald T. Watts St.; and former Companion Robert Spicer.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Sollon Funeral Home at 30 E. College Street in Canonsburg. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. , the time of services, on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 in Mt. Olive Baptist Church wit the Rev. Lance Whitlock officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery in McMurray. I lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sollon Funeral Home.
