Jane Patricia Barnhart Meeks, 82, of , died Saturday, Dec. 24 2011 in Humbert Lane Health Care Center in Washington.
She was born Feb. 13, 1929 in Canonsburg, a daughter of Russell and Hazel Wassum Barnhart.
Mrs. Meeks was a lifelong Canonsburg resident and member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker. Her husband, James Meeks, died Feb. 23, 1983.

She was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by two brother, James R. Barnhart and Frank Barnhart and one niece, Andrea Hickery.
Surviving are her son, Robert Meeks, with whom she made her home, one niece, Susan Dudas (Joseph) of Houston, one nephew, Mark Dudas of Las Vegas.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Sollon Funeral Home at 30 E. Pike Street in Canonsburg, where services will be at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Hamilton, pastor of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be Wednesday in the Forest Lawn Garden, McMurray.
