Obituary: Kathleen Elizabeth Kruppa

Kathleen Elizabeth Kruppa, 66, of , died Thursday, May 31, 2012 in her home.

She was born Jan. 7, 1946 in Darby, a daughter of the late Harold A. and Teresa M. Yahner Egbert.

She worked as a residential licensing representative for the Department of Public Welfare. She was a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, and also a member of the Harley owners group.

On Oct. 19, 1966, she married John Kruppa of Canonsburg. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer R. Mathe of Dormont; a brother, William Egbert and his wife, Giselle, of Bethlehem; a sister, Miriam Egbert, of New Jersey; a stepson, Christopher R. Kruppa and his wife, Rachael, of North Charleroi; and a stepdaughter, Dana Shepler and her husband, Norman, of .

A celebration of Kathleen's life will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 4, at ., 30 East College St., Canonsburg. Memorial services will be at 8 p.m.
