Obituary: Michael Sifinski

Michael Sifinski, 53, of Houston, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 5, 2012, in his home.

He was born on March 21, 1959, in Canton, OH, a son of Raymond and Dolores Powell Sifinski.

Michael attended Canton schools and graduated from nursing school in Pittsburgh. He last worked as an LPN for Washington County Health Center. He was a Catholic.

Surviving are two sons, Joshua Sifinski and Christian Sifinski, both of South Park; one daughter, Lauren Welkert of York; two brothers, Randy Sifinski of Albion, OH, and Ray Sifinski of Bridgeville; three sisters, Karen Stallman of Canton, OH, Judy Spring of Valencia and Susanna Sifinski of Houston; his girlfriend/caregiver, Jackie Sifinski of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, May 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the , 30 East College St., . Services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday. Interment will be private.
