
Rose Ann Grosso, 72, of Strabane, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 in the Donnell House.
She was born July 30, 1939 in Lawrence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Solomon Procacina.
On Aug. 1, 1959 she married Angelo Gross Sr., who died June 17, 1994.

Mrs. Grosso was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish and the Christian Mothers; and was a life member of the SNPJ. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, polkas and her cat, Chogye. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a psychiatric aide for Western Center and Mayview State Hospital.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry A. (Michelle) Grosso Jr. of Canonsburg, Joseph A. (Andrea) Grosso of North Strabane Township, and Christopher Grosso of Berryville, Va.; one brother, Richard (May Lou) Procacina of Carnegie; four grandchildren, Chad Grosso, Justin Grosso, Daniel Grosso and Andrew Grosso; her fiancé, Robert Coen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Procacina, and one sister, Marie O’Neal.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sollon Funeral Home at 30 E. College St., Canonsburg.
Departing prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in with the Rev. John Batykefer, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery.
