
Stella Kordella, 92, of Mentor, OH, formerly of , died Friday, May 11, 2010 in Tri-Point Medical Center.
She was born on April 12, 1920 in Washington, PA, a daughter of Joseph and Helen Krawczyk Kolanko.
Prior to moving to Mentor, she resided in Canonsburg, where she was a homemaker. She was a former member of and an active member of the Society for the Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Stella and her husband actively participated in the perogi making projects at the church. She was also a former member of the Canonsburg Senior Center.
She is survived by a son, Scott, and his wife, Cheryl, of Mentor, OH; a daughter-in-law, Michele Kordella; four grandchildren, Suzanne Kordella, Christopher Kordella, Stephen Kordella and Kristina Kordella; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Kordella, who died July 25, 2002; a son, Gary Kordella, who died July 23, 2011; a brother, Andrew Kolanko; and three sisters, Josephine Comoski, Violet Stackhouse and Wanda Borello.
Friends will be received at the , 30 East College St., Canonsburg, from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, with the Rev. Mark Swoger of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Canonsburg.
