Obituary: Thomas Raymond Huber

March 10, 1955 - Feb. 19, 2012

Thomas Raymond Huber, 56, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 in his home.

He was born March 10, 1955 in Canonsburg. He worked as a licensed practical nurse for Asbury Heights Village.

Mr. Huber was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, the Eagles and the Arden Club. He enjoyed dart ball, Nascar’s Jimmy Johnson, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Anne Huber of Canonsburg; three sons, Kristoffer Blaire Huber, at home, Henry (Erika) Huber of Louisiana, and Bryton (Megan) Huber of Washington; one daughter, Darlene (Jason) Bard of Houston; and four grandchildren, Tyler Bard, Blake Bard, Alyssa Huber and Mykel Dorsey. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Steele, who raised him.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sollon Funeral Home at 30 E. College St. in Canonsburg. Departing prayers will take place there at 9:30 a.m. Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church in Canonsburg with the Rev. John Batykefer officiating. Burial is private. Full military rites will be accorded by the VFW Post 191 and the American Legion Post 902. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in care of the Sollon Funeral Home.
