Kennywood offers park goers two new shows in addition to the return of the nightly Laser Spectacular. Starting May 19, "Cirque Rocks!" will entertain with acrobats and an aerial drummer. Also, audience members will be part of the act with "The Kennyville Game Show." Contestants will be challenged to complete tasks using common household objects.
The park won't be unveiling any new rides this year, but the Sky Rocket, new to Kennywood last year, is sure to thrill first-time riders and return adrenaline junkies. This is just one of six roller coasters, as well three water rides and many, many more that promise family fun.
For those who aren't fans of riding, there is a lot to look forward to in Potato Patch fries, corn dogs and the sweet taste of cotton candy. Enjoy some good food, take in some people watching or play a few classic park games.
