Thousands of Dollars Worth of Copper Stolen in Southpointe
The theft was reported to Cecil Township police Tuesday.

Cecil Township police said someone stole thousands of dollars worth of wire from a construction site in Southpointe sometime Monday night.
Police said Ray Monaco from P.J. Dick Corp. told police Tuesday morning that someone cut the lock off a tool trailer sometime after 7 p.m. Monday, stealing two, 80-foot spools of copper.
He told police that a 2000-watt Honda generator valued at $1,000 was also taken.

Also stolen was 6,000 feet of copper wire from three floors of the building itself.
Police said that copper was cut from the breaker panels.
