Your Local Guide to Easter Egg Hunts
Here are the dates and times for the Easter egg hunts being held in Canonsburg, Cecil and North Strabane.

Break out your baskets and cameras because it’s almost time for the local annual Easter egg hunts!
The and the are co-sponsoring their annual Easter egg hunt at Canonsburg Town Park at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7.
Children ages 12 and younger are welcome to participate.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand, as will a disc jockey, and snacks will be available in the main pavilion.
The Easter egg hunt is free, but those wishing to make a donation to the event may call Howard Rhome at the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department at 724-746-1014 or Mayor David H. Rhome at 724-745-1800 x 16.

Cecil Township’s annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31 in Cecil Park.
Participants are asked to sign in near the concession stands (or the Generations room in the municipal building in the case of rain) at 1 p.m., when a magician will also perform.
The Easter egg hunt will proceed by age group at 2 p.m., with children ages 8 and younger welcome.
At 2:15 p.m. the Easter Bunny will arrive, and residents are reminded that snacks will be available at the concession stand and special raffle prizes will be awarded.

North Strabane’s Park and Recreation Department is sponsoring its Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 31.
Children ages 10 and younger are welcome to participate and proof of residency is required.
And remember: The event will be held outside the , and the Easter Bunny will be on hand to give treats to the kids.

The New Life Church and other community businesses are also sponsoring an Easter Egg drop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at the McDowell Lane fields on McDowell Lane in North Strabane.
Yep, we said drop: A helicopter will drop more than 25,000 eggs on the two fields for the event, which is free. Some of the eggs will have tokens for grand prizes such as a bike or iPod.
Children ages 13 and younger are welcome to participate—and the hunt will be organized age groups.
