Open Letter to the Bad Driver Who Pulled Out in Front of a School Bus
Open letter to a bad driver
Dear Bad Driver,
I saw you.
This isn't the first time. It's happened over and over again.

I am SO tired of seeing you pull out of your driveway, appearantly without a glance, right in front of an oncoming school bus.
I am SO thankful the driver is good at his job, and stopped in time before you hit a bus full of children.

I've tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you were having a bad day, maybe you couldn't see around a parked car, or maybe it was a one time thing.
But now it's a dozen-time thing. I find it hard to believe that you couldn't see something as big as a bus coming. I saw it crest the hill from half a block away before your car even started to move. Again.
That isn't a bad day. That's careless and dangerous.
You aren't special. You live in this neighborhood the same as the rest of us. I don't care what time it is, where you are going, how late you are, or how stressed you feel - safety comes first. Nowhere you go, and nothing you do is more important.
That goes a thousand times over for the safety of children.
And, that goes for all of us who drive. Pay attention. Stop for the school bus. Wait your turn. Do it right or stay off the road.
Bad Driver, you should be ashamed of yourself.
