If what I read is accurate, that money is, shall we say, misspent. It is my view you ought not retain that office. In my opinion you have made a travesty of that position. It might be better for anyone else that might ever have to appear before you that you resign -- now.
As I read the situation the police officer also made a career altering decision. Perhaps a large award from the pending South Fayette Township civil suit will sort it out.
