New Faces in CV District as School Year Begins

There are staffing changes and new employees in the Chartiers Valley School District.

As the Chartiers Valley school year begins, several new employees are starting their roles in the district and some current employees are in new positions.

Here are some of the changes:

  • Stephanie Faith is the new Assistant Principal at Chartiers ValleyΒ Primary School. Faith previously served as the principal of State Street Elementary School in the Ambridge SchoolΒ District.
  • Leah O’Malley is theΒ new guidance counselor at Chartiers ValleyΒ High School. O’Malley previously served asΒ aΒ long-term substitute guidance counselor in Mt. Lebanon andΒ Peters Township school districts,Β and at the BeattieΒ Career Center in Allison Park.
  • Justin Leidy,Β a certifiedΒ K-12 reading specialist, N-12 specialΒ education teacher and 7-9 English teacher,Β was hired as aΒ regular education teacher at Chartiers ValleyΒ Intermediate School. Leidy previously served asΒ a seventh gradeΒ language arts teacher at Connellsville Junior High East.
