With all of the happenings in our area with the oil and gas industry, the Universities and the hospitals, we are seeing an increase of people moving to Pittsburgh. It is such an eclectic mix of all types of folks, from doctors to ditch diggers. They all have one thing in common. They are all seeking shelter! Some of the things that I am hearing from these virgin "yinzers" is how different each neighborhood is in terms of architecture and feel.
While pondering this thought, I started to pay close attention to our neighborhoods. I have been a resident of the Carnegie and Crafton areas for more than ten years, and I am certain that no one appreciates the diversity of these areas more than myself. We have everything to offer in the housing market, from tiny ramblers to grand Victorian homes. Linked with the convenience to the shopping in Robinson, and downtown businesses, how can you not fall in love with our neighborhoods? There truly is something for everyone!
