Brandywine Summit Camp Meeting in Chadds Ford is having their annual OPEN HOUSE with a tour of the grounds, Camp History Museum, and a few camp cottages from 1 to 4. Brandywine Summit Camp Meeting is a non-profit Christ-centered association with programs that begin with a Spring Tea in May and end with a Worship Service on August 9th. With continuous service since its founding in 1866, it is one of the oldest Camp Meetings in the United States.
Historian Bill Troppman will be speaking in honor of the celebration of America's 250th Anniversary in the open-air Tabernacle at 3:00. The Open House begins the season of programming with speakers, musical groups, Bible Study, prayer, and Revival, culminating in a traditional Walk Around on August 8th. All are welcome; most events are FREE, and offerings are accepted.
